Technical Scientific Working Group

With the Regional Executive Determination No. 12029 of 25/7/2018, a Technical Scientific Working Group was established to support the candidacy. The working group was then renewed, and the current structure was defined with the Regional Executive Determination No. 17425 of 22/9/2021. The members of the Working Group do not receive any compensation for the activities performed.

The Technical Scientific Working Group has decisively contributed to the creation of the candidacy dossier documentation by developing the scientific aspects, which represent the core of the documentation. The same Working Group will also support the evaluation phase to respond to "additional information," accompany the evaluators during the on-site visit, and provide any technical scientific clarifications to IUCN.

The Working Group was also supported for the editing of documents, cartography, and preliminary verification of the completeness and adequacy of the dossier contents to UNESCO standards by external experts from A2 studio srl – Trento and Dolomitiproject srl – Feltre (BL).
